Functional blends are combinations of functional components such as: emulsifiers, stabilizers, antioxidants, preservatives, animal and vegetable proteins, fiber, special starches, etc. designed to stabilize and preserve existing ones and obtain new product qualities. For example, thanks to functional blends, it is possible to obtain in meat products the desired yield, biting effect, texture, elasticity, consistency, moisture cutting off, dry good cut test, emulsification and the required prime cost.

Preservatives and fresheners give an attractive appearance, taste or aroma and extend shelf life. The scope of functional blends and additives is extremely wide, therefore, now almost no any production gets along without their use.
